Cloyes is a worldwide leader in the manufacture and supply of automotive timing drive systems and components for both the OEM’s and the Automotive Aftermarket.

In the early 1920’s, Raymond Cloyes started in Cleveland, Ohio, by manufacturing by hand a small quantity of replacement gears. Today, we are the largest timing gear and sprocket manufacturer in the world, and a Tier 1 supplier to General Motors, Daimler-Chrysler, Ford and Nissan.

Our Aftermarket Division is the industry leader, offering the most complete line of replacement timing drive systems and components through the aftermarket distribution network. The Cloyes name is also well known and highly respected in the high performance world. Cloyes developed and patented the very first True® Roller timing set in 1970.

Cloyes has been manufacturing and marketing timing components for over 80 years. Focusing on only one product line allows us to focus all of our efforts on maintaining the very highest standards in Quality, Coverage, Availability and Service.
