GM's LS Engine Family  We start with sprockets machined from premium billet steel on state-of-the-art CNC equipment. Both sprockets are then induction hardened and oil-quenched using our in-house multi-stage heat treat process. Both sprockets are made “oversized” to eliminate the chain slack found in the OE and other aftermarket sets. The cam sprocket is machined for and includes a captured thrust bearing to reduce friction. Our Premium True® Roller chains feature superior strength with full roller action. Side plates are cut and shaved from high strength steel and heat-treated for maximum fatigue resistance. The .250” rollers are “cold rolled” and hardened to exacting standards increasing load and RPM capabilities. All our LS sets are hand-matched at our manufacturing facility to qualify center distance and run out. This is a Cloyes Exclusive - no one else in the industry takes the time and attention to detail to ensure you get the very best custom set in each and every box.   We offer LS sets in our patented Hex-A-Just® series allowing easy timing adjustment of +/- 6º, as well as in our Race Billet series which are available with three or nine keyways.   New Coverage for Raised Blocks and also with EXTREME DUTY Race Chain!   LS sets now available with increased center distance for the RHS and other .390 raised blocks.   Also new this year, all our LS sets are available with the well-known racing chain currently being used by the leading 24 hour endurance teams . . .   the Cloyes“Z” Chain.   The “Z” chain is the preferred extreme racing option offering unmatched strength and durability for the LS team looking for all-out racing performance. The "Z" chain is standard on our raised cam LS sets and available as an upgrade on all LS applications.  YOU WON’T FIND BETTER!
